The story is about a young pup, Megan, whose parents died fighting for the pack and was raised in the pack house with the Alpha's daughter, Sam. Megan was preparing to surprise Sam with her tree house, but an incident happened, and Sam fell to the ground from the tree and died. Megan was so sad and worried at the same time to be kicked out of the pack house because she had no one, and because she killed one of her pack members. She met a witch who convinced her to reveive a spell that makes her look like Sam. Megan was able to convince Sam's parents that she was her. The story is centered on Megan witnessing the degeneration of her own life to live someone else's life, and she pays the price of her own decision when she meets her mate.
