Casa Luna
Updated at Oct 30, 2026, 01:38
When Clara Bennett was 8 years old, her grandmother Isabella kicked her out of Casa Luna — the little white house on the hill in Cadaqués — and never spoke to her again.Ten years later, Isabella is dead. Clara is called to a lawyer's office in Montreux, Switzerland, in the rain, to hear the will. She expects nothing. What she finds is a boy sitting in the other chair. Julian Hayes. British. Her age. Grumpy, wet jacket, backpack, and the same silver key in his hand.Isabella left them both the same house. Casa Luna. With one condition: they have to live there together for 90 days. If one leaves, the house is sold.Clara hates the idea. Julian needs the house — he has no money, no family, and nowhere else to go. So they make a contract on a blank piece of paper:*Rule #1: No romance. This is not a love story.**Rule #2: Divide the chores.**Rule #3: No personal questions.**Rule #4: Two bedrooms. Two keys. Two lives.*They take the train from Switzerland to Spain — 10 hours, two changes, no words — and arrive at Casa Luna at 2:14 AM.
