An earthquake has struck the continent of Australia, shattering the largest island in the world into pieces. With no warming, no cause, the country is sent into utter chaos with key leaders and politicians currently missing or killed. Amidst this dismal situation, a small town within the red desert center of the land down under now finds itself bordered by ocean, infested by a military occupation and on the brink of isolation. With no contact to the outside world or neighboring islands, the young remnant must fight for their survival all the while trying to unite with their lost loved ones. Abigail a young teenager separated from her family and desperate to find them embarks on a harrowing adventure joined by some of her closest companions and greatest enemies as they seek out the real cause of the earthquake and struggle to answer the burning questions left behind by it. Loyalties will be tested, lines will be drawn as Abigail and her companions face military invasion, renegades, sympathizers. While clinging to the hope of reuniting with their lost loved ones and seeking asylum in a hidden haven only mentioned in whispers. Time is running as this battered band of friends begin questioning each other's motives as trust dances on a blade's edge. Amongst this Abigail begins to realize that the enemy within has far greater power than the one that waits outside their door.
