"The gods are angry, what does that mean?" shade asked while pulling her hair out of frustration.
"I dddo not know but I know they are killing us one after the other, they want us all dead, this is god's revenge and-"
"Are you saying these deaths are caused by something beyond physical ?", shade asked cutting her off, oh ok, who are these gods?
Four girls murdered in the most brutal way resulted to people questioning God, with a lot of secret waiting to be revealed.
"Who is Henry Calsdiast to you, shade asked while assessing the files at her front.
The woman looked towards the floor once more,it was as if she was embarrassed, she really just wanted the ground to open up and swallow her up.She deliberated between saying the truth, covering the truth up and lying.
Shade bang the table aggressively bringing the woman out of her thoughts.
" Mrs flora Douglas, can you be frank with me",shade asked once more with a frown.
Mrs flora is a caramel skinned, middle aged woman who was in her late 40's, She pulled her hair in a tight bun,and from her look right now you could only imagine what she had been through.
She had bruises on her face and body. It was like decoration, deliberately meant to adorn her.She raised her head up while biting her lips, with tearful eyes she finally braced herself to speak.
"Henry is just a teacher appointed to take my children private lessons". Flora replied while averting her eyes from shade's dangerous ones.
Shade let out a boisterous laugh, not the good kind of laugh but the wicked kind you will only see or hear in horror movies.
" You know, you are not helping yourself",shade retorted with a determined look,"You had a past right?Tell me what I don't know, not what others want to hear, why did you and Henry kill your husband.
Flora started shivering, even though the heat was too much in the room. She couldn't control the river falling from her eyes and then all what she thought had been hidden flashed before her eyes.
