Madison, Madi for short, the main character get caught up in an ordeal with a dangerous criminal. She took something that belonged to that dangerous criminal unknowingly. Her friends and family are in danger but her friends dad is actually in the security business and hides everyone, his family, Alex and his family (another friend of Madi) and takes care of Madi and her family. This criminal manages to infiltrate the security team and finds them no matter where they run. Madi does not take it well that everyone is danger because of her. At least she has Ben. Ben is a security guard. Him and Madi get very close and Madi relies on him a lot, especially to feel safe. He tries his best but Madi gets shot. She recovers and learns some self defense while falling in love with Ben. Her parents don't approve of this relationship. All this is very difficult for Madi and she decides to return what she took putting her and everyone else's lives in danger.
