Stella never wanted to go to the boutique in the first place. She only agreed because her stepsister asked her to come along and help carry shopping bags while choosing a wedding dress. It sounded like a small favor, but for Stella, the situation was painful because the man her stepsister was about to marry was the same man who once promised to spend his life with her. Ethan used to tell Stella about their future together and made her believe they would always be together, but everything suddenly changed and he chose someone else. Even worse, the woman he chose was Stella’s own stepsister.Although her heart still hurt, Stella tried her best to act like she had moved on. She followed quietly behind while her stepsister happily tried on expensive dresses and talked excitedly about the wedding. Stella kept her head down and stayed out of the way because all she wanted was for the day to end so she could go home. Then everything suddenly went wrong. After a staff member asked Stella to move a chair out of the walkway, she heard a loud crashing sound behind her. The boutique immediately became chaotic as employees rushed over and blamed Stella for the damage. Then Stella noticed something that made her stomach drop. Her stepsister was smiling. Not only that, Stella saw a small piece of white fabric hanging from her handbag and instantly understood the truth. She had been set up. Her stepsister caused the accident on purpose and made sure everyone blamed Stella instead. No matter how much Stella tried to explain, nobody believed her. Her father stood there and said nothing while the staff threatened to call the police because the dresses were worth more money than Stella could ever afford.Just when panic started taking over, a man stepped forward. He had been quietly watching everything.
