Charles' sport agency business went bankrupt after his uncle duped him and fled to the states. He tried to find comfort in the hands of the love of his life, Bella, his girlfriend but because he wasn't able to provide the luxuries he did provide before, her character changed. Jane offered to give Charles a job and she's willing to pay him a huge sum of money. The job was to fake being in a relationship with her but that got out of their control and the contract got to be upgraded and extended. Charles grew feelings for Jane but he knew he is out of her league and now entangled between going back to his old love or sticking to the new found one.
