A woman wakes in a field in mid-Wales with no memory of how she got there. She is partially dressed and a lock of her dark auburn hair has turned white. She is found by a local farmer's wife, who takes her in and is taken aback by the woman's peculiar facial features and abnormal six-foot-eight height. When trying to asses the woman's situation. The farmer's wife notices the woman has some unusual ways of articulating and suspects that the woman is either an escapee from a local asylum, or she is from another place, altogether. What ensues is the combination of fantastical magic realism and the forging of a heart-warming friendship in the most stunning setting, where nature is showcased at its best.
