That's what everyone thinks, but the reality is different. William is a cruel man who has made his wife’s life unbearable because he was forced by her father to marry her against his will . He asks her for a divorce the same day that he announces that he will marry her stepsister. But then, abuses her to make her life even more miserable than it is. Valeria leaves the house devastated the next day and meets an Italian named Mattia Morgan. By a twist of fate, she sleeps with him and falls in love at first sight. However, she ends up pregnant without knowing who the father of the child she is carrying is. Without saying anything to the man she has just met and who seems to be her salvation, she leaves without looking back. Until fate makes her return years later to accomplish two things: one, to take revenge on the man who ruined her life and took everything from her, and two, to urgently find out who the father of her daughter is. The problem? One of the men who she suspects to be the father of her daughter is her boss, and he is no longer the man she met years ago. Not only is he the brother of the most important mobster in the world, he is also the owner of a company that manufactures weapons. And he has also become cruel, intimidating, and bad, because a "woman from the past" left him without giving him a single explanation.  What will Valeria do to explain her reasons? Will he forgive her? Or doesn't Mattia Morgan care to remember the past? Even if she tells him it's their destiny.
