Avalor is a kingdom of two halves. The royal family and the Upper City make the rules while the Lower City is expected to obey and bend to their whims. But things are changing; the Lower City is under new management. The Oracle, who holds the secrets of the whole kingdom The Shade, who can seemingly walk through walls The Harpy, who people say can kill with a look. Three mysterious figures that people call the Triad, and they run their kingdom with an iron fist under their own rules. Ones that protect the people rather than exploit them. Most love them but a lot is working against them. The Upper City and royal family are starting to take notice, while behind the scenes, a shadowy figure has his own agenda for the Lower City. As problems rise from all fronts the Triad have to keep their people safe, while also keeping their biggest secret. That in a world run by men, they're all women.
