The Waves Summary
Updated at Aug 28, 2022, 04:39
The form of the book is abstract, and it's considered her most experimental work, blurring the lines between prose and poetry. It comprises third- person descriptions of a littoral scene as well as soliloquies delivered by the six characters of the book Bernard, Susan, Rhoda, Neville, Jinny, and Louis. There's also a seventh character, Percival, although he doesn't deliver his own spiel so the anthology noway learns important about his life. It's extensively believed that these characters are grounded on people from Woolf’s own life, her musketeers and family.
