A ghost agent, burdened by a dangerous past and the loss of his wife, makes the agonizing decision to abandon his infant son, Reth, on the doorstep of a kind couple during a violent storm. He leaves Reth with a locket bearing his name and a cryptic message hinting at the child's own destiny as a Ghost Agent. Desperate to destroy all evidence of his dangerous work and protect his son, the father sets fire to his house, filled with occult artifacts and research. However, he is confronted by a monstrous, half-burned entity from a demonic realm who demands the location of a powerful artifact. The father refuses, leading to a fiery confrontation where he sacrifices his life, but not before ensuring his son’s soul is protected from the demonic being, ultimately delaying but not stopping the inevitable apocalypse.
