ASHES OF TRUTHUpdated at Nov 10, 2025, 05:54
Ada Thomas, a 32-year-old investigative journalist in Lagos, is known for her courage, empathy, and unrelenting pursuit of truth. When a string of serial murders targets young women across the city, Ada takes on the case, determined to expose the corruption and misogyny allowing such horrors to persist.
What she doesn’t know is that the killer she seeks is much closer than she imagines: her husband, Thomas, a charming, brilliant, but deeply fractured computer engineer hiding behind a façade of love and domesticity.
As Ada delves deeper, uncovering patterns, data traces, and psychological clues, her world begins to fracture. The investigation turns personal, her marriage grows both more intimate and more dangerous, and the truth threatens to destroy not just her faith in justice, but in love itself.
In the end, Ada must decide: expose the man she loves to the world, or protect him and live with the knowledge that justice died in her hands.
But when Thomas vanishes, leaving only encrypted fragments of himself behind, Ada realizes the story is far from over.
