Before he was mated to Mia, when he was still courting her, he tried to sexually assault Rose causing her to run away and then tried to kidnap her so he and Mia could sell her again. Jerome : Rose and Mia's father. Sold Rose to Alpha Mel but she escaped, he then instructed Viktor and Mia to make plans to kidnap her again. Adrian : Rose's former mate who rejected her, only to come back later on to try to get her back. He's also Viktor's younger brother. Other characters (maids, guards, passerbys, common folks) will be related later in the story. PLOT: Rose, beautiful and young, just turned 20 when she lost her mother and got rejected by her mate. She decides to honor her mother's request and travel from the pack where they lived, to Wolfbane pack where her father and step sister lived. She had not seen them in years and expected a warm welcome only to be greeted with the coldest and meanest/nonchalant look from her father (Jerome) and stepsister (Mia).She decides to keep to herself and be as polite as possible. It was also here that she meets, Viktor, he is Mia's suitor/boyfriend who came over to visit very often.One day when her father and sister where not at home, Viktor comes in and tries to sexually assault her, he is unlucky but still manages to inflict a few wounds and injuries on Rose.Terrified, she runs away, wandering through the nearby forest, crying and asking the moon goddess why she took her mother away from her. If her mother was alive, she wouldn't be put through this.Eventually, she decides to go back home to at least report Viktor to Mia. As she walks in and tries to talk/explain, she is attacked and beaten by Mia who accuses her of trying to seduce Viktor. Mia passes out and wakes up later in a room underneath the stairs of the house, locked in. Through the hole in the old door, she sees Mia, Viktor and her father discussing animatedly. Viktor leaves but Mia and her father are still discussing, obviously talking about her. Rose, unfortunately can't hear anything and being tired and hungry, she falls asleep/unconscious. The next day, Mia comes to give her food, scoffing and telling her that she should have stayed with her dead mother and not come here to stress their lives. She said a lot of mean things to Rose, which Rose tried to ignore.Rose begins to realize why her mother had never let her come here to visit, she also remembers how her last stay here was and how horrible it had been. Apparently, she had been so little and the memory had been foggy so that's why she expected a warm welcome or at least, a polite one from her father and stepsister.She wonders why there was so much hatred when she had done nothing to anyone. The food that Mia gave her starts to make her dizzy and drowsy, scared that she had been poisoned and wondering what she ever did to Mia, she starts praying to the moon goddess for protection.She eventually falls unconscious and wakes up in a carriage, next to her father. She's confused and terrified and asks him where he's taking her but Jerome (her father) only replies that she relaxes and that she's safe. But Rose cannot shake off the uneasy feeling and when they make a stop at a local shop that apparently belonged to Viktor, she strains her ears to catch her father's conversation this time.She realizes that her father was about to sell her to the Alpha of their pack.Alarmed, Rose decides to make a break for it, escaping from the carriage and running as fast as she could through the forest, falling repeatedly and injuring herself.She kept running, thinking th
