Within The Bottle Of DaisiesUpdated at Aug 14, 2020, 01:32
"This is our bottle, Ien. And though it may be deemed as inconsequential to those who do not reside within our circle, it is anything but that. Because in this glass, we grew a garden of words, and none of us had known that we watered it with the love created by our own fragmented souls."
The day during the start of summer vacation, Ivy had discovered a clear, glass bottle laying between the rocks at the secluded part of their town's well-loved beach. Inside, a roll of paper stood, containing a message written for no particular individual.
Without truly thinking of her actions, Ivy came to a decision that she would keep the paper, replace it with a ruby-red construction paper holding a message of her own with a couple of plastic daisies, and return the bottle to where she had found it.
Little did she know that she would receive a reply after a few days, scribbled on a thin bond paper with the same handwriting.
And Ivy, curious, answered once more.
Friendship flourished between Ivy and the mysterious person, both slowly becoming fond of the other. Without them knowing, they fell deep into sweet, innocent love, built by words, papers, and quotes, and developed within a bottle of daisies.
For love grows in unexpected places. And even more to those who least expect it.
