A seat worth bloodUpdated at Jan 29, 2026, 02:56
In a country built on order and silence, power is never clean.
Freya grew up in Havdal, a forgotten town where rivers keep secrets and people mind their own. But what happens when her husband is found dead, and the town turns against her, leading her to Oslo, a city that promised safety, until it offers something worse.
Recruited into the Prime Minister’s inner circle, Freya is pulled into a world where loyalty is demanded and mercy is punished. Used as leverage, stripped of choice, and forced to obey, she becomes the kind of woman the system needs, silent, precise, and disposable.
But when she is ordered to destroy the very people who remind her of who she once was, Freya begins to question the truth behind the power she serves.
And now she must decide what she is willing to sacrifice, and whether power is ever worth the blood spilled in its name.
