The Sankofa wolf pack has been in disarray ever since former Alpha Mubaka decided to break the mate bond he shared with Luna Thandi (a little over a year ago). Since then the pack has been working to restructure it's leadership team and ensure the entire pack is well protected since Luna Thandi is not yet ready to open up to a new mate just yet, at least not in the way that the pack Council is insisting she do. In the absence of the leadership and protection of an Alpha mate, Luna Thandi is given the option to have those Alpha roles fulfilled by others within her community and she is surprised at how well she adjusts to this non traditional way of leading her community.
