Single Mama's Ex-Husband Wants Her Back (R18)Updated at Jan 23, 2024, 06:44
As Scarlett poured a glass of wine, she couldn't help but notice the man strolling around with her son, with the gentle sea breeze rustling the palm trees outside her beachfront restaurant, the man is playing with her son with his toy cars. David, with a noticeable change in his demeanor, had a slight nervous twitch and a smile that seemed a bit forced when he noticed Scarlet is about to come. She got out and approached them. "Leo, come here baby, let's go inside now. The rain is about to pour," she said, grabbing Leo's hand in front of David and make sure to avoid him as fast as possible. "But mommy, I want to play. Mister was very kind to me and he gave me more toys, look!" Leo said while excitement and pride was shown from his expression which made Scarlet burst to anger. "No baby, go inside now and I'll talk to the Mister, okay?" she said calmly and smiled towards his son while Leo nodded and got back inside their restaurant. "Scarlett," he said , his voice was lacking its previous charm. "Hey, can we talk?""Wow, you want to talk?" Scarlett arched an eyebrow, still feeling the sting of his betrayal."Haven't we had enough conversations before you decided to prioritize pursuing romantic interests over being a father?"David flinched. "Yeah, I messed up. But things are different now, I've changed-""Oh, come on, don't give me the sob story," Scarlett interrupted, her voice went sharp. "Hey, David, you had your chance. So, you think you can just come back after throwing away our vows for a fling and expect me to be your trophy wife? Not so fast! ""Scarlett, please," David said with a pleading tone, reaching out towards her. "Let's talk about Leo. He really needs a father, I want to get back with you and be a father figure to him." A slight tremor went through across Scarlett's face, revealing her intense curiosity rather than any sense of guilt. "Leo doesn't need a father figure who shows up unexpectedly like an unwelcomed ghost. He got me, he's fine without your existence!"And then, the moment set off a spark. Is David's reappearance the missing piece for her ultimate revenge? Could she use his desperation to rebuild her trust, only to break it again? Or for him to prove that he really changed for the better?
