Angelica has been bestfriends with Adrian since they were in preschool. They've been inseparable ever since, and tell each other everything, or so Angelica thought. A few weeks after Adrian's 16th birthday his biggest secret is revealed in the worst way. A day which is supposed to be celebrated, is instead stained by blood, and leaves Angelica scarred. Years after the incident Adrian still blames himself for what he did to Angelica. This has lead Adrian to go down a not so good path. He's hasn't been fulfilling his duties as alpha, which is causing Angelica and others to pick up the slack. Things take a turn when Angelica makes a decision that even confuses her. She accepts a request from a pack to visit. She soon finds out why she couldn't throw away the letter.
