Christiano’s Angel
Updated at Apr 2, 2025, 11:06
Miss wanna-be journalist, Cassandra Thorne, would do anything for the scoop. Anything, including finding her way into an underground club exclusive to only those in the Genovese Mafia and the beautiful women they employ. What could be more perfect? She would stick to the shadows, record a few videos, and write the biggest story New York has ever seen, thereby making her a legend. Easy as pie. Until she got found out. A series of blatant lies and luck breaks later, and she’s mistaken for one of the workers underneath. While many might be terrified of this, Cassandra couldn’t be more excited. The freedom to roam the area and talk to all the members of the infamous brotherhood will leave no rock unturned. All she had to do was keep her cover until the night is over and the workers go home. But there were just two problems: One was him, Christiano Genovese. The Don. The Godfather. The one damned man who had taken a keen interest in Cassandra. Even that was something she could handle for one night. Except for problem number two: They don’t leave. Not at the end of the night, the end of the week, or even the end of the year. By the time Cassandra realized that not even the biggest scoop is worth the price, she was in far too deep to call it quits now.

Code of Conduct
Updated at May 24, 2024, 06:16
“Death would be too good for you,” The evil glint in his crimson orbs startled me, not expecting this to be his reaction, “You’ve never been owned? You’ve never lived a day in your life by the code? Let’s see how much I can torture you and make you beg for your death, you stubborn ass bitch.”No…“K-kill me,” I lifted my right hand, the weakness of my punch to his face amused him. I was beyond beaten, blood continued to trickle from my wounds. In my past experiences, it should slow within the next moments… It always does. “I-I wi-will not b-be owned.”“No,” He sneered, “You want to die having fought as hard as you could. You’ll recover then I’ll break you all over again. If you don’t follow the code of conduct, you’ll be severely punished. You’ll beg for death as a sniffling coward, not as someone who fought for their life.”<**>In the year 2066, Human rights were stripped away. Those declarations of freedom each country had built its moral codes upon, shattered. There are only two options, follow the code of conduct laid out by the vampire council to maintain what little freedom Humanity has left, or be chased into the street as a vagrant.Option two isn’t so nice, as you become a free game to any vampire and in so doing, your life also becomes forfeit.I should know, considering I grew up my whole life living option two and learning how to invade those who had taken away the true human way of life. I’ve never lived a day by the code, and I never plan to.
