ACKNOWLEDGE EMENTS *** First of all, I thank the almighty, who gave me the power to write and create a story. Secondly, I thank my parents and family for their support. Thanks to Neha, the intial editor and first reader of my manuscript. Thanks to all my good friends, whose characters inspired me. Thanks to Wordit Art Fund for choosing my manuscript. I thank Puja Dutt, my first coordinator; Mr. Sameer, my project manager; and Mrs. Paulami Chakraborty for editing my book and making it readable for all my lovely readers. Most of all, thanks to all my readers. Thank you so much. This was my past, my love, my life and my whole intention Ashmi Desai. 'Hello', someone said to me while coming towards to me. 'Hi', I replied. 'Do you know me?' 'No', He shook his head. I saw a tall guy with an extraordinary chest and a black straight moustache, wearing a track suit. I had never seen him before. 'Rajdeep Shergill', he said to me while pumping his foot up and down. 'Nishan Roy', I replied. 'I am from Mumbai', he said, waiting for my reply. 'I am from Agra', I replied casually. 'Ok, from U.P. It is the leading crime state man', he said a little aggressively. 'Yes I know that', I replied. 'I have come into the civil services to end crime', I said to him. 'Nice goal', he replied, continuing his great foot work. Many times in the conversation he rolled his moustache. 'And what do you want to do as an officer?' I asked him. 'I will remove crime from the world, along with the criminals', he replied banging his foot to the ground. 'Great thing, and you are a great person', I replied. 'I know that. You are also nice but not like me', he said to me, rolling his moustache again. 'Of course, right brother', I said with a tiny smile. 'Now I have to go for running', He said. 'Yes you are right' I replied, wanting to escape. 'Will meet soon', he said to me while leaving. 'No please', I said after he left. What kind of a person was he? "Ye to band baja dega criminals ki". So this was my initial experience in the academy, and this way time was passing by. Sometimes Rajdeep irritated me and sometimes Arushi irritated me or sometimes the memories of Ashmi tortured me. After some days... It was a Sunday, and I went to the garden to call Ashmi. I saw Arushi with Rajdeep, coming towards me. I got frightened, both were so boring and together they would kill me. Where could I run? 'Hello', both said to me at the same time. 'Hi', I replied with a fake smile. 'What are you doing here?' she asked me. 'Sleeping', I replied. 'What', Rajdeep shouted. Why did he shout every time? 'I am just jogging', I said and looked into the eyes of Arushi, black big eyes. 'Give us a proper answer, ok', Rajdeep said to me with his great foot work. 'Ok, just listen, we all are friends in this academy', she said to me trying to convince me. 'Yes, absolutely', Rajdeep gave us his positive nod. 'I don't think so', I replied. They stared at me. But I quickly covered up my talk. 'I am just joking, of course we are good friends', I said to both. 'So let's go for an outing and a party tonight', she said to us with great excitement. Rajdeep again gave us a positive nod. Perhaps he didn't have any personal opinion. Arushi's opinion was final for him. I didn't say anything for a moment. 'Don't worry I'll pay', she said to me. 'You fu...', I thought. 'Let's go', I replied with intense eye contact with Arushi. 'That's like friends', Rajdeep said, giving me a tap on my shoulder. 'I said that only to convince you, I will not give any extra fucking bucks', Arushi said with an evil smile. I already knew that, she was not so generous after all. 'You know our family is well cultured and educated', she said to me while we were waiting for a cab. 'After all, our family has given two I.A.S. officers', Rajdeep said to us while doing his irritating foot work. 'Who is the second', I asked him anxiously. 'What.... the both of us', he replied pointing to Arushi. 'What? What the fuck', I shouted. 'We are cousins mister', Arushi said to me. Oh my god! They both tortured me again and again with their nonsense and I didn't know they were from the same family. I should have understood much earlier. 'This is cheating guys', I replied. 'What?' Arushi asked. 'I am just saying that you both are superb', I said that to overcome my shock. 'We already know that', Rajdeep said with an evil smile. Now I was stuck between well and valley. What to do? 'Have you a girlfriend', Arushi asked me while chewing something. I think it was cardamom. She was addicted of cardamom. 'No', I replied after a few moments. 'Good boy', Rajdeep said. He was addicted to foot work. 'What is nice in this type of boys', Arushi said to Rajdeep and gave him a tap on the back of his head. I clapped. That's great. Now I wanted to tease both. 'Why are you slapping him?' I asked Arushi. 'So what, he is younger than me by a couple of months',
