Laura is a Brazilian woman with a secret: she can shift into a huge and dangerous jaguar. So far, she thinks she is the only one with such ability. Actually, so far, she thinks she is the only one out there at all. In the middle of a vampire apocalypse, she hasn't seen anyone in almost 2 years, and as independent as she may be, she still craves to feel the warmth of friendship or even... love. She lives in a famous island in the south of Brazil: The Ilha do Mel, which means Honey Island in Portuguese. This island is a very tactical home for an apocalypse, since there is an ancient fort and lighthouse from the Brazilian Empire Era, and vampires are not that found of water. In the 2 years that she has lived there alone, she managed to rebuild the structures and fill them with handmaid anti-vampire weapons and defenses. She lives alone and she is prepared for any kind of attack... but what will she do when an almost sunk motorboat arrives at the bay, carrying an American pack of werewolves, whose Alpha claims to be her mate?
