Cathy, a struggling graphic designer, thinks she has found a miracle just before Christmas. A room in the famous "Gilded Manor" for only $500 a month. However, the low rent is a trap. Her landlady, Mrs. Sterling, reveals that Cathy has actually been hired as a "social handler" for her nephew, Casper. Casper is a reclusive, horror-obsessed young man who wears platform boots, loves taxidermy, and treats the hallway like a hunted house. Now, instead of preparing for her future, Cathy is stuck trying to convince a boy in platform boots that a tuxedo won't actually kill him.
