Georgia and Cassie have been friends since they were young girls. They know everything about each other. Except Cassie doesn't know why Georgia ran off with a the band, leaving her alone after a concert. During their time apart, the girls both live very different lives. Cassie must deal with the shame and guilt of letting her friend leave with the band. Meanwhile she must develop her own identity with her best friend, which she struggles with but manages to with a little bit of help from some friendly movie theater employees. Georgia gets a taste of fame and money as she tours with Arizona, the leader of the band. She falls head over heels with him, but things began to fall out of her control as she's exposed to drugs, sex, and the corrupted people Arizona surrounds himself with. She knows eventually she'll have to go home, but when and how? Two friends that separate and live vastly different lives eventually come back together, each with a different story to tell.
