Hi, I am Flinty Crystal (Pedra Alfar) born sixth alive of ten siblings in the family. Now a mother of four children.I used to love writing short stories when I was a high school student but didn\'t have the chance to get my stories published \'cause I didn\'t know how. Life in my younger years had been tough for me that I needed to live away from family in order to pursue high school education. I was a working student since I started my first year in secondary education until I studied first year college. With that, I thought I could finish my studies continuously.However, with life\'s twists and turns, I stopped in the second year. Back then, my mother acquired a serious disease that my younger sister and I had to stop from schooling to take care of her. I believe it was the best decision we ever made for we may have eventually lost her, but in our hearts, lies the feeling of gratefulness that as children we\'re chanced to stay by her side \'til her last breath. At the age of twenty-four, I married the man whom I never thought would become my better half. He was a grade school classmate of mine. If it were just known to me, that he\'d be my \'forever\', I should have married him earlier. He\'s the one who had made my dreams come true.He let me finish my college education that I became a teacher.But for some reasons, I needed to stop working and take care of my own children. I am a mother of three boys and a girl who at their age need my maternal care. In order not to make my brain stagnant of use, I decided to start writing again. It\'s when I discovered Stary Writing which I believe of great help for me to enhance myself as a beginner in the field of writing.
