Her gaze pierces those whose truth lies not beyond what is seen. "The truth is not the truth if it aims to please all those who listen. The truth is only the truth if it is the truth that does not please all of whose ears are lent to listen, but instead feeds," she paused, turning to the young boy whose eyebrows were knitted in confusion. She continued, "if it feeds at least one of the bad wolves your mother warned you about." "If it feeds at least one heart of anger?" the boy asked. She raised a brow from the boy's inference. "Not all the bad wolves have hearts of anger," she replied, "some of them feed not not on anger, but on...." "Revenge?" the boy continued his inquisition, impolitely cutting the words of the woman. However, she overlooked this behavior as she spoke, “Justice. Some of them feed on an unquenchable thirst for justice.” Her words reflect the truth the society chooses not to see. Just then, a faint gasp was heard before a rushed call was heard, "Child! Come here!" The young boy turned to the old woman, not wanting to walk away from the pretty lady he was just speaking to. "Go now," the 'pretty lady' ushered. "It isn't so pleasant to see a young lamb with a big bad wolf, now is it?" Hesitant, the young boy walked away, immediately getting dragged away from the woman. Her eyes see beyond the utterance of truth that brings only joy. She sees beyond the truth that aims to fool. "Miss! What is your name?" the young boy called out, despite being silenced by the old woman beside him. The boy was answered with nothing but silence. She who reflects the truth society refuses to see--the truth who feeds hearts not of joy, but of fear... Lucia is her name.
