Janny Manla was born and raised in the World War II historic Pilar, Bataan. She is a people person who loves exploring new places and meeting new friends. She lives an active life in the community as part of the parish lector team, a choir member for the schools division personnel choir, and initiating various services like feeding programs and community pantry. She always loved reading and even authored an e- children\'s book series Star Dazzlers, with her two daughters and their friends as her inspiration. She put the titles online to raise funds for relief goods to those who lost their jobs in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic. She was influenced by her father to love of reading as she grew up seeing him reading a lot - even the old newspapers used as bags for dried fish. A solo parent, her heart is centered at home with her talented teen kids and their eight adorable dogs. She is currently an elementary school principal and is starting to fulfill her long time dream of becoming a novelist.
