ORION: RISE OF THE TRUE ALPHAUpdated at Aug 22, 2026, 13:37
EPISODE 1 — THE NIGHT THE STARS DISAPPEARED
The night Orion was born, seven stars vanished from the sky.
No one understood why.
For thousands of years, the people of Aethera had believed the stars could never disappear. They were the ancient lights that guided travelers, sailors, warriors, and kings. Every constellation had a name. Every star had a story.
But that night, something changed.
The moon hung above the city of Valen like a silver eye. Thousands of lights burned across the towering buildings below, while airships moved silently between the skyscrapers.
Then, without warning—
One star disappeared.
Then another.
Then another.
Within seconds, seven stars had vanished.
Across Valen, people stopped what they were doing.
Children pointed at the sky.
Scientists rushed to their observatories.
Priests fell to their knees.
And in the highest tower of the city, an old man stared through a telescope with trembling hands.
"No..." he whispered.
Behind him, a woman asked, "What is it?"
The old man slowly lowered the telescope.
"The prophecy."
"What prophecy?"
He turned toward her.
"The Alpha has returned."
Far beyond Valen, hidden among mountains covered in snow, something moved.
A massive black wolf stepped onto the edge of a cliff.
Its fur seemed to absorb the darkness around it. A long scar ran across its left eye, and its golden eyes reflected the seven empty places in the sky.
The wolf raised its head.
Then it howled.
The sound traveled through the mountains.
Through the forests.
Across the valleys.
And somehow, into the city.
At that exact moment, a newborn child began to cry.
His mother held him tightly.
She looked toward the window.
The seven missing stars had left the sky strangely empty.
An old woman standing beside her whispered:
"Orion."
The mother looked down at her child.
"That's his name."
The old woman shook her head.
"No."
She stared at the baby.
"That's more than his name."
---
Seventeen years later, Orion Vale stood on the edge of a skyscraper.
Below him, Valen glittered.
He pulled his hood over his head and checked the time.
11:47 p.m.
He had six minutes to get home.
"Perfect."
Orion stepped backward.
Then he ran.
Three steps.
Four.
Five.
He jumped.
His boots landed on the roof of the next building.
He barely slowed down.
Another jump.
Then another.
The wind pushed against his jacket as he raced across the rooftops.
Orion wasn't the strongest student at the Aethera Academy.
He wasn't the richest.
He wasn't famous.
But there was one thing he could do better than almost anyone.
Run.
He reached the edge of another building.
The next rooftop was several meters away.
Orion smiled.
"Easy."
He jumped.
His feet hit the other side.
He rolled, stood, and continued running.
Then a blue light appeared above him.
Orion stopped.
A security drone hovered in the air.
"UNAUTHORIZED MOVEMENT DETECTED."
Orion sighed.
"Seriously?"
The drone scanned the rooftop.
"IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED."
Orion ducked behind a large ventilation unit.
The blue scanning light moved closer.
Three meters.
Two meters.
One—
"You're getting slower."
Orion nearly jumped out of his skin.
He turned.
A girl stood behind him with her arms folded.
Lyra.
His best friend.
"You scared me."
Lyra raised an eyebrow.
"You just jumped across seven buildings."
"Six."
"That doesn't make it better."
The drone turned toward them.
"TARGETS DETECTED."
Lyra grabbed Orion's arm.
"Run."
They sprinted.
A warning pulse shot across the rooftop.
Orion jumped over a wall.
Lyra followed.
They disappeared into the darkness just before the drone reached them.
Several minutes later, they stood inside an abandoned stairwell, catching their breath.
Lyra looked at him.
"One day, you're going to get yourself killed."
Orion smiled.
"Not today."
He pulled up his sleeve.
Then he froze.
There was something on his shoulder.
A strange silver mark.
Seven tiny points formed the shape of a constellation.
And at its center was the outline of a wolf.
Lyra's smile disappeared.
"Orion..."
"What?"
She pointed at the mark.
"I've never seen that before."
Orion touched it.
Pain exploded through his body.
He fell to the floor.
The world disappeared.
Suddenly, Orion was standing in a frozen forest.
Snow fell silently around him.
A massive black wolf stood between the trees.
Its golden eyes stared directly into his.
Orion couldn't move.
The wolf stepped closer.
Then it spoke.
"Finally."
Orion's heart raced.
"Who are you?"
The wolf lowered its head.
"My name is Kael."
Thunder rolled across the frozen sky.
Kael looked beyond Orion, toward something hidden in the darkness.
"They have found you."
Orion frowned.
"Who?"
The wolf's golden eyes returned to him.
"The ones who killed your father."
Orion froze.
"My father?"
Kael stepped closer.
"You are the last Alpha."
The forest shattered.
Orion woke on the floor.
He's aunt stood in front of him, with Elara, he's mother whose face is completely pale.
She stared at the mark on Orion's shoulders and knew she could not hide the truth.
