Her partner and best friend is taken and in order to save him, she's going to have to work closely with her werewolf bud's cocky Alpha, Xavier Ward. War isn't ready for how quickly he gets under skin...or the danger that she'll find when they rescue her friend. How is she supposed to deal with one annoyingly hot wolf wanting all the strings attached and the increasingly worsening danger this case is putting her and everyone around her in at the same time?
