Mysterious, loves cooking, workaholic and also a dysfunctional past.Outline;Laurina a college student, working to make ends meets, comes home one day to find her sister getting intimate with her boyfriend, her first love and also finds out that her she was currently three weeks pregnant for him, and also still haunted by the death of her mother through a car accident in a rainy day, detests the rainy days.Devin, a very successful CEO, plans for the golden jubilee of his company, that has been passed down from his grandfather to his father then to him.Laurina being a waitress, get invited to a serve in the ceremony, and encounters Devin, but because of the circumstances surrounding their meeting, Devin is perceived as arrogant and Laurina hates him immediately for his arrogant nature.Rising ActionDevin, encounters Laurina and learns of her trauma the day he was coming back from grocery shopping with his mother, finds Laurina hurled up in the middle of the road, the rain drenching her.Recognizing her from his party, is moved to help her, takes her home and offers her a roof to sleep under, taking care of her and cooking fie her the next morning, shows off his culinary skills and shocks a Laurina that thought he's the type to let the helpers do the job and begins to see him from a completely different light.Devin's father, seeing the interaction between Devin and Laurina, gets annoyed that his son is beginning to accomodate someone that will not bring any business deals and tells Laurina indirectly that Devin can never take her seriously and that she is just a fling, and that the last girl that thought she was in, Devin left her after telling her to abort his son.This makes her to close up again, her trust issues resurfacing, not wanting to get her heart broken again.Going back to her home to see her pregnant sister makes her bottle up the more and makes her bury her vulnerability.Meanwhile, Devin's rival seems to get a hold of the information that Devin once had a girl and she got pregnant for him and he asked her to abort the baby, threatens the Klein family about a possiblity of releasing that crucial information.Climax:Devin's rival finally released the information and this made the Klein family to suffer great loss and also making Laurina to believe what she was told to be true.Unfortunately, Laurina’s trauma resurface the day that Devin comes to see her after she cut off all interactions with him. Devin although annoyed that he was cut off, couldn't bring himself to be angry at her when he saw her in the same state she was the other night and comforts her by cooking and taking her mind off the threatening storm out the window.Laurina calming down later the next morning, has a heart to heart conversation with Devin about everything going and it was found that it was his father that slept with his ex girlfriend and when he found out that she was pregnant for him caused her to abort the baby.Laurina pressing on how he was so sure, finally got to know the dysfunctional past of Devin and this comes as a shock to her.Laurina asking him to confess and tell the truth so his company wouldn't go under after learning of the financial struggle the information has caused him.Falling action:Laurina promising Devin not to disappear on him again, gets to depeen their relationship, with the support of his mother and sister Devin, wanting to have the full trust of Laurina, brings about the information of his father secret affair and damns the consequences.Laurina shocked that Devin could do something this big for her begins to give him a little bit of her trust, bits turns to chunks and turn to the whole thing. Conclusion:Laurina and Devin finally had a happy relationship with the support of his mother and sister, and begrudgingly the support of his father as well.Devin, finally sees that his dysfunctionallity stops when he is around Laurina, and begins to make his company no more profit oriented but also consumer oriented.Laurina, letting go of the hate and malice harbored against her sister, finds inner peace and finally has closure that what happened was for good.Denouncement:Laurina and Devin finally has a happy union and increases the Klein family, Devin's sister being the happiest because her brother has made it possible for her to marry who she wants without bothering if he will be a business deal.Devin's father, finally coming to terms that it's not all about money but also happiness of his children matters too.
