With the ability to see the future and an ability to heal wounds, made Kleira an outcast as her peers found it creepy. Being treated as a weirdo and pushed away by her peers wherever she goes, she started to find comfort alone by herself. But, after meeting a boy the same as her, with an ability, made her feel assured that she wasn’t the only weird one. But, she didn’t see in her “Vision” of her meeting this boy in her future. What’s stranger is that, those with abilities are called “Gifted Ones”. The “Gifted Ones” are-as the name suggests are people with gifts or abilities. In the past, humanity once worshipped those with abilities for they are the chosen ones of God and are quite rare. But as time passed, those with abilities started to succumb to their greed and lust, killing people for their greed of fortune and kidnapping women of any age for their lust, made the humans fear them, calling them “Gifted of the God of Misfortune” and grasped the courage to eliminate them, themselves. Thus began the “Cursed Hunt” that lasted for 1000 years. Even though the Gifted Ones fought back, they still got erased for they are overwhelmed of the humans’ numbers. But every ability has loophole, that is why they got eliminated easily by humans in the past. But as time flew after the hunt they have forgotten the existence of the Gifted Ones, as the Gifted Ones started to vanish and didn’t reappear again. But the truth is, Some went into hiding, while some are living with normal humans without showing or exposing their abilities. Some even started a gathering for the young Gifted ones can control and use their ability, but they only did it secretly and quietly without people noticing in a place normal humans can’t approach so easily. While some just live quietly without trying to control or even use their gifts to co-exist with humans without causing trouble. But even though they are gifted, their lifespan is as similar and doesn’t surpass that of a humans’. After knowing that she is also one of the “Gifted Ones”. Being able to see the future is a rare kind of ability so is healing, but having a rare dual ability is even rarer. Kliera also started to participate to the so called “Gathering” for the Gifted Ones, with the boy that she met called Phyran who invited her. Without telling anyone of her having two abilities, for she will be in danger because many ability users consider a dual gifted a very rare gem, for dual gifted is the beloved being of God: is what Phyran warned her. I wonder what life will Kliera go down to, now that she knows the history of the “Gifted Ones” and her dual ability that many people(ability users) crave the most. Will she live happily and peacefully? Or will she live miserably?
