It is obvious that Kathleen has no home to go to after my stepmother’s leaves her for predators to feed on in the death of the night but she is saved by a man who is adored in the kingdom and tries to show gratitude working as a maid, she is stopped in her tracks and offered marriage by the handsome duke, as love slowly creeps into her heart so does suspicions, the man who she is married to is hiding some sort of truth from her while he tries quenching his thirst for her so he doesn’t scare her away, in the midst of this, Kathleen has to find out who she is and why her husband is suspicious while trying to get revenge on her stepmother and her siblings.
