Ascardia

The clichè Princess story is either, she is sold to the highest bidder, or she is kidnapped and in need of rescuing. This is not a clichè In the faraway land of Ascardia, there were three main kingdoms. Each with their strength, and in turn, their weaknesses. For over fifteen years Nightingale was known to many as the Heirless Kingdom, a sign that the kingdom would be easy to overthrow. Canterbury, the closest neighboring kingdom to Nightingale, was known as the Small Kingdom, which was neither weak nor strong. For who would want to take over such a small kingdom? The last, but certainly the vilest, was the Kingless Kingdom of Ash, ruled by tyrannical Dukes and Duchesses. Ascardia was a magical place filled with dangerous and wondrous creatures. Filled with lies, deception, brutality, and murder. When Princess Onyx-Rose of Nightingale was born, the Heirless Kingdom became The Kindest Kingdom. She was more beautiful than any flower and more deadly than any Poison Thorne, or the Black Rose. She isn't the average princess. Edmond Ashbury was an evil man. He wanted nothing more than to rule all of Ascardia, to be more than a mere Duke. He wanted a throne and to get it, he needed Onyx. Enoch Ashbury was once the future Duke of Ash. But at the tender age of 5, he was framed for the murders of his parents. Now a Mercenary, banished to The Forbidden Forest, he is asked by his sister to find, and protect the Warrior Princess of Nightingale. In hopes of having a chance to rid Ascardia and himself of his brother, Enoch accepts.

Turning 16 was supposed to be sweet, but for these five teens their already strange shared birthday was about to get even stranger. How are you supposed to react when your parents and principal tell you that you're the next generation of Guardians...beings so powerful they've been given the nickname Hell's Angels?
