The Rise of the True Luna

He traces his finger up my arm, leaving a tingling sensation in its wake. Eventually, he reaches my shoulder and begins to trace downward. My breath hitches in my throat as he pauses just above my breasts. Slowly, he raises his eyes, previously focused on my breasts, to meet mine. The left side of his mouth curls up as he wraps his right hand around my breast. Tears begin to pool in my eyes as he applies more pressure. He leans in and lowers his head to my neck, inhaling deeply. “You smell like ash,” he mutters. “I was cleaning the fireplace before you called for me,” I reply, though I know it won’t satisfy him. “I warned you,” he says, just before I feel his teeth sink deep into my neck, his hand tightening mercilessly around my breast. Sofia Kieran had been living the perfect life- she was the late alpha’s daughter and despite her little flaw of not having a wolf, she was preparing for her wedding to her childhood sweetheart, Lucas, and her Luna inauguration. All of a sudden, her life took an unexpected turn. On the evening her wedding was to take place, her fiance shattered her dreams- he was never going to marry her; he wanted to marry her best friend instead. He claimed that she was a weak wolfless girl that would be useless to the pack as a Luna. Feeling betrayed and rejected, Sofia left the pack of her own accord that same night, head hung in shame. In the forest, she encountered a guard member, Danny, who promised to help her get revenge under the condition that she returned to the pack. She reluctantly agreed. Sofia is now back at the pack where she grew up having maids to tend to her every need, now she was a maid that was being constantly abused by her ex-fiance and ex-best friend. On a quest for revenge, Sofia has only Danny by her side. How much more can Sofia take, and what lays beneath Danny’s charming smile? What secrets does Lucas not want being exposed and how far is he willing to go to keep them beneath the surface?
