Pusetso gets overwhelmed by grief when his father is killed by the chief over something they both could have not foreseen. In exchange for an immortality spell, he finds himself trapped in the body of a beast and stuck killing for the snake whose only desire is to see the human race eradicated. In pursuit for the snake so that it can reverse the spell that turned him into a murderous beast, he finds himself in the territory of the humans mortal enemy. He is caught in between, fighting a war that is not his, only it brings him closer to his eternal life partner.
