Amber Wesler, a sixteen-year-old girl who has moved around for most of her life, is finally able to settle down with her mother in a small town called Fairleigh Valley. When Amber first meets the Finley siblings, she develops a quick friendship with Kyle and Jasmine, but with Ronan, the older brother, he becomes the enemy after making an inaproproate advance towards her. Ronan baffled that his mate Amber wont recipotate, thinking shes playing hard to get takes it upon himseld to make his mate jealous. Amber is set on a path that causes mayhem with this bad boy's sexual deviant life. One fib goes too far and the Finley siblings' deepest, darkest secrets are exposed: that they are indeed werewolves. This sparks a series of events in which Amber discovers she is half werewolf and is mated to Ronan and Kyle. Amber's wolf unwilling to follow the heirchy of pack let alone join a pack puts her in danger, leading her to search answers as to why she can't submit all the while dealing with a looming threat of the Ash Band Pack.
