When I was 16, I started reading my first book. That book changed everything. There was a man in the story who stole my heart. As I read more books, I fell in love with more characters. My friends tried to set me up with guys, but it wasn't the same. Even when they kissed me, it felt different. I wondered if I'd never find someone like the men in my books.
But then, my life took a surprising turn. And then, I met Dante... He's worse than the devil himself. His presence awakens a sinful desire within me, making me want to surrender to my deepest cravings. It's infuriating, really. I despise the control he has over me, the way he makes me feel with just one glance. But the worst part? He's that one person I'm not supposed to want...because he's my brother-in-law.

His grip on my wrists tightened as he pinned my hands above my head with his veiny arm. His breath was hot against my skin, sending shivers down my spine as I laid on the couch. His eyes stared into mine with an intensity that made emotions explode inside me. "When was the last time you ever kissed anyone?" He asked, his voice low and husky.
I squirmed, trying to break free. "Get off me."
His grip remained steady. "I'll only do that when you answer my fucking question."
My cheeks burned, my breathing getting heavy. I tried to avoid the question, but his gaze held mine, refusing to let go. I was frightened the least, and excited at the same time. What if someone walked in on us? I whispered urgently, "Get off me! What if someone hears us?”
His expression remained steady. "Let them. I don't give a fuck." His thumb rubbed down my lower lip, sending a spark of electricity through me. "The only thing I'm interested in right now....is getting my fucking answer before I lose my fucking patience."
I swallowed hard, my heart racing. "Six months ago."
His eyes softened, a smile spreading across his face. 'Perfect!"
