Just Alan is a man who basically lost his identity. He comes back as a lovable but manipulative man and has an affair with a married woman who falls madly in love with him despite his constant change of identity. She has a husband who pays her no attention and treats her like a maid. Just Alan is handsome and has the knack of embracing women into loving him and answering to all his whiles and whims. However, there are times when he appears to fall back into different characters, some loving and some evil and destroying. Marion understands him and hopes to change him, but the tale goes back and forth. He appears to get pleasure from hurting her mostly mentally, but she does not see it and still loves him to the end. I have written under a pseudonym for the sake of my family, but I am prepared to use my own name now.

Crooks meet high class company executives. The executives think they will be able to bring the good out in these two men especially if they are kept busy working on their very large farm. Other problems come in the way. Do they keep the secrets hidden under the farmhouse, do they call in the army, or police? Decisions have to be made for good or bad. How will it turn out, perhaps the baddies' mother might keep them on the straight and narrow. The people living on the outskirts, workers of a number of years before, are jealous and cause trouble. It is a real mess, and the only saving grace could be the harvests from the land if there is no thieving. How will they overcome these stumbling blocks?
