Althea Wright has never stood out much, and she preferred it that way. However, the news of her parents’ sudden disappearance becomes the latest controversy and pushes her to the spotlight. Despite the people’s curiosity about their disappearance though, no one seems interested in helping find them; in fact, some even appear to have a hand in their disappearance. She finds herself alone, until her estranged aunt shows up and introduces her to a world she thought only existed in fiction. With her newfound powers, she begins her search, all the while serving her own brand of justice. Will she find what she’s looking for or will she lose sight of what matters most?
