The Bridge (Golden Lycans Sequel)Updated at Jul 15, 2026, 20:37
***This is *mostly* readable to a new reader as the core couple are new, but reading The Golden Lycans first is recommended!***
Serena Landry has spent most of her life moving too quickly to worry about where she is going.
There is always another hobby to master, another adventure to chase, another reason not to sit still. But entering her final year at Exton College, Serena decides to make one change: instead of falling back into the same supernatural circles she has always known, she begins spending time with a group of humans.
To her surprise, she likes them.
There is Joel, confident, charming and impossible to overlook, and Finn, quieter and more guarded, whose dry humour and seemingly endless collection of shared interests make friendship with him unexpectedly easy. For the first time, Serena begins to wonder whether the divide between humans and her own kind is quite as vast as she has always believed.
Then she turns eighteen.
And Serena senses her mate.
What should have been one of the simplest certainties of Lycan life instead throws everything she knows about destined bonds into disarray. Something about hers is wrong—or perhaps unprecedented—and while Serena searches for answers, whispers of a prophecy begin to place her at the centre of something she never asked for.
She is not the only one questioning the old ways.
Her future sister-in-law, Ella Reva, believes the supernatural world has hidden for long enough and is quietly working towards the impossible: Disclosure. A future in which humans finally learn that Lycans, Fae, witches, Elves, Sirens and countless other beings have always lived among them.
The myths were real.
But across the water from Serena's pack, something is being built.
No one knows exactly what lies beyond the mysterious barrier surrounding it. Humans cannot approach it. Lycans cannot break through it. Not even her powerful brother Austin Landry—the Golden Lycan, powerful enough to challenge almost anything—can penetrate its defences.
And as the threat beyond the water grows, Serena begins to realise that the strange path unfolding before her may be connected to far more than her own future.
For centuries, two worlds have existed side by side without ever truly meeting.
Perhaps they were only waiting for someone to build the bridge.

**There are a number of songs quoted throughout as Serena is very music orientated... I did not write these songs. clearly! And apologies, this book was not written to monetise, it was a passion project, so it is very long!***
