There are two kinds of people in this world; Werewolves and Summoners. One can shift into a wolf, and the other can summon a demon to do their bidding.
Arien Crowne is neither.
As the only one in the pack who can’t shift into a wolf form, she is a great disgrace. The fact she is mated to a stone-cold alpha makes it worse.
Rayven Redwell loathed his freak of a mate. But, being the Alpha of Grimcrest Pack made him unable to reject her for political purposes. He caged Arien under his brutal dominance, never letting her go.
However, on the night of her twenty-fifth birthday, a black line stretched from her wrist to her inner forearm – similar to how a Demon Rune etched on the Summoner’s skin.
Her misery worsened.
Hopeless and helpless, Arien pressed the unknown mark, and a demon appeared. Born in a family of werewolves, it should be impossible for her to be a Summoner, let alone summon the Devil’s son.
For the Prince of Hell, Cassius – call me Case – Morningstar is ridiculously annoying. Yet, he ignited a spark of happiness in Arien’s bleak life. If Rayven finds out about the foreign presence in his territory, death will be inevitable.
Can Arien keep her demon hidden forever?
The only thing she wishes is for her to be happy. The only thing stopping her is Rayven’s entire being. Except …
Rayven catches her hand, sharp eyes prying into her very soul, “You make me crazy. I want to fuck you so bad,” and his breath is in her lungs. “Will you let me?”
Rayven starts to treat her as if she is the most precious thing in the world. Is this just an intricate trick from him? Or is this the real Rayven she has yet to know?
Can Case save her before the real storm hits?
With her freedom and happiness on the line, Arien will do anything to keep it – even if she has to play with fire. She knows how the story goes …
Someone is bound to get burned.
