Selene: (Voice trembling, holding a piece of embroidered fabric that isn't hers) "Kael? What is this? I found it tucked beneath your side of the bed. It smells… foreign."
Kael: (Entering, trying to appear nonchalant) "What is it, Selene? Can't it wait? I have pack matters to attend to."
Selene: (Her voice rising) "Pack matters? Or her matters? Don't lie to me, Kael. This scent… it's an Omega. A marked one, judging by the strength of it."
Kael: (Stiffening) "Selene, you're jumping to conclusions."
Selene: "Am I? For weeks, you've been distant. Cold. You barely look at me. And now this? Who is she, Kael? Who is this Omega you've been… entertaining?"
Kael: (Looking away) "It's… complicated."
Selene: "Complicated? Our bond, Kael! Our vows before the Moon Goddess! Was that all just… uncomplicated lies?"
Kael: (Sighing) "Selene, please try to understand. She… she offers something different. Something… simpler."
Selene: "Simpler? Am I too complex for you now, Kael? Your Luna, your equal, the mother of your future heirs? I am not some trinket you can discard for a fleeting pleasure!"
Kael: (His voice hardening) "Don't make this more than it is, Selene. It's just… comfort. A release. It doesn't change anything between us. You are still my Luna."
Selene: (Tears welling in her eyes) "No, Kael. It changes everything. You have broken the most sacred trust. You have spat on our bond. And for what? For a temporary warmth in your bed?"
