Love and Destiny. ..When will it come to you? Vhia and Loi who enjoyed their junior days in 10th grade. They both experienced a lot of surprises from academic to school performances. Never they did know that they will be delighted with many teasing words where they will develop feelings for each other. Flash back: One year ago, while Vhia is talking to her best friend Rad, during recess time, she noticed a boy sitting alone away from his friends. He was holding a notebook, chips, and soda. He looked so aloof and serious. On that same event, Loi was a having hard time in studying all his lessons as he was pressured with academic performances and how he will be able to balance his life as a student and a school officer. While taking his deep breath, looking far, he noticed a girl talking with her friend while taking their recess and he just smiled unknowingly. Vhia is just a regular student who is also an academic scholar. She is a happy person, full of enthusiasm and hardworking. During her free time, she intended to go to the library and read a lot of books and of course, her favorite, the Horoscope of the day. She always makes sure to give time in praying and attend mass every morning before going to school. Her family is not that well off, that’s why she strives to study so that she can enroll to college and be able to help her family. Whenever she has no money for snacks at school, she offered to answer her classmates’ assignments and do their project so she can have money in return. Sometimes, Vhia goes to school without breakfast and no viand in her meal. Loi, on the other side of the coin, come from a very well-off family. His father is a politician in the city while his mother is a school Guidance Counselor. Since kindergarten up to grade 10, Loi has been a student leader, achiever, athlete, class honor, choir member, scout, etc. name it! He can do things rightly just to please his father who is strict while his mother is the opposite one. Everyday, all students come to school as early as possible to attend the morning convocation and be be able to practice punctuality. That is why, Vhia maintains her attendance in good standing to make herself well discipline as well. But, Friday morning comes, Vhia wasn't able to hitch in her neighbor's van because her mother got so mad, because their father took all the money and give it to money launder and bought a number for lottery. Vhia with only few coins left in her wallet, didn't ask her mom to give her more money. Instead, she walked from their home to the market and from market she rode a bus enough for the fare and the coins she has, Vhia was looking at the window bus when a rain pour heavily. Unluckily, she needs to get off form the bus already because the school is near. For her, her day is not good already. after she went off the bus, she ran towards their school gate, buying the time. she was panting that she wasn't able to breath normally. when she arrive at the school gate, a familiar face walking towards her and asked her: "Vhia are you alright?" Vhia wasn't able to answer the question as she dozed off and her eyes shut immediately. She can hear voices but het body can't move. She felt someone is carrying her. She can feel the heartbeat and the warm arms strongly holding her so she won't fell. After 30 minutes, Vhia woke up, she rolled and glared her eyes and all she can see is a bright light, and then, she saw someone sitting next to her reading a textbook with a pen on his ear. She noticed that he was familiar, and then she realized it was Loi. She immediately close her eyes again and pretended to be asleep. But, too late, Loi saw her already form the tip of his eyes. Even, he's reading, he can clearly saw any movement around him. He smiled quietly when she saw Vhia pretended to sleep. Then, he clears his throat loudly. "Ahem! I guess you're already awake now Miss Vhia?" While he was asking, he slowly stood up and walk towards the clinic bed where Vhia laid down. Vhia, shut her eyes more and kept pretending. Loi tap her shoulders and tried to wake her up. She continue to pretend and slowly open her eyes and stared at him. Then she asked: "What happened? Why am I here?" she slowly get up when someone open the door. Both Vhia and Loi stared at the door and saw Marga standing glaring at them. "Loi, we are all waiting for you at the canteen. what are you doing here? Are you now the new school nurse? she asked sarcastically. "Well, I'm just checking her if she woke up already. you know I was the one who brought her here." Loi answered. "and besides, I already told our groupmates a about this matter, is there anything that concerns you?" he continued...Marga smirk and rolled her eyes. She walked out and slam the door... 10th grade gives a lot of rollercoaster ride for Vhia and Loi, what more exciting things may happen, or they will meet? Will they end up with each other or they will find other soulmates that will never run away from them.
