This story is about a rare Lyceon wolf named Kendra, who was born with her powers, but doesn't have full control over it. The purpose of Kendra is to find her Beta mate, and protect her Alpha Trevor and Luna Latvia from an attack designed to end their bloodline (an old family member of the Luna, who secretly wants her.) When her first mate, Beta Keyon, rejected her the night before 18th birthday, Kendra becomes a cold hearted wolf, whose heart is set on making Keyon pay for hurting her. Completely forgetting her purpose and who she is, that is, until she meets a Beta name Johnathon Matters. Johnathon couldn't help but the beauty in Kendra, even though she's cold hearted to him. Johnathon helps Kendra forgive Keyon, but as the predicted war is approaching, she realizes that she hasn't been prepared or practicing with her powers. The family member isn't the only threat though, a new coming vampire named Vega has his heart set on making Kendra his, using her powers for his own evilness. He almost accomplishes capturing her, had Johnathon not intervened. Vega and the family member decided to tag team together in the war. Kendra, now has a dilemma, she has to protect her Luna and Alpha, or her second mate. To end top that, Keyon is now regretting rejecting Kendra and is hell bent on getting her back.
