Rough Start (REVAMPED)Updated at Mar 23, 2023, 21:23
It is times like this, I happened to be sitting around and I think about the things that had happened to me back in my hometown. I lived in North Carolina in a small town, but not so small town, named Gastonia. I do hate that place; I never want to go back there. With all the beatings that I endured there would happen by my own father, and my stepmother, done all the name calling. I was so glad that I ran when I did, or I would be dead, right at the age of 16. I was on my own for a while before I met the man, who I would always consider a great father, he helped me become a stronger person every day. The day I left my hometown was the best day of my life. Let’s be honest in that house, it was a more of a horror house, than anything thing a child should go through on this earth.
When my mother died at the hands of my father, was the worst thing a child should have seen. My older brothers seem to get away with everything. Later I found out they never got hit and they got everything their hearts desire. Little old me never got anything other than backhanded, cut, whipped or name calling. My grandfather’s told me later, on the only way my parents to get any money from them or anything from there will’s I had to be born. Only if they died. I remember all the pain I went through, and never wish the beatings I went through on my worst enemy. I am still upset thinking about that my father only wanted sons and money. I guess having daughters wasn’t what he wanted at all.
Then about 6 months after he killed my mother, he, got married to my now stepmother. Let me just say she is nothing but a bitch, all she cares about is money and getting laid. She has a nasty attitude about anything and everything, if she must clean oh my goodness, she is the laziest person I know. She spends money on herself doesn’t care about the cost. How can someone have that many clothes that you have 2 rooms full.
Don’t get me started on my brothers. We used to have a great relationship. That all changed when they were never there for me. As the days went on, they just left the house whenever they wanted to hang out with their friends, of course I was never allowed to go out other than school or had to do things for them. I was set up to get married as soon as my father knew he wouldn’t get my money unless I was married, died, or my grandfather’s passed away.
