Shadow is the alpha of a small werewolf pack in Alaska and he has waited 5 years to find his mate. In a few days a gala is being held for the werewolf king to introduce his queen to his people. All alphas along with kings and queens of other species must be in attendance. So lucky Shadow has to travel to Arizona and is in for the ride of his life when he is quickly rejected by his beautiful vampire queen.
