Living the life a Royal was anything but simple.
Ikaika, Kaleo, Kealohalani, Naomi, Nahe, Nanea and Kahikole’s lives were always held to a high standard. Structure, routine and customs were always to be followed.
When family turns on you, bonds are tested, family ties are cut.

Makana- “It is safe to come out. Ikaika, Kaleo, Kealoha, Kahi and Naomi meet us in the ball room.
I gripped onto my siblings in total fear. He wasn’t dead, that much I knew. I still felt him. *Please Tutu, I beg of you.* I send out a prayer.
“It’ll be okay Kealoha. You’ll see.” Naomi whispers, as we all exit the safe room. The others made their way to the kitchen. Awaiting instructions.
We make the few minute walk and as soon as we get to the door I smell him. My wolf whines in need. *Ema, please. You know he isn’t a good person.*

Dom’s anger surfaces. “Nanea and Nahe!? This is the third time this week! What is wrong with the both of you? You are princesses and princesses don’t behave as such!?” He booms, causing my siblings to cower.
*Hmm-serves them right. They’re always trashing my stuff and room.* “Dom, calm down.” I hear my mother plead but my father knew something was going on which caused my sisters to act as such. He wasn’t backing down.
“Do not make me command you to speak.” My sister Nahe swallowed, fear finally clearly evident and present.
Then a look so ugly graces her features, and when she speaks, my soul cracked. “She’s a mutt! We know you adopted her. We know her mother was a peasant and no one knows who her father is-“ I think I stopped breathing for a moment.
**Were the the Royal Koa family blessed so much so that it has now become a curse?
