Taste In Ruin

“Don’t pretend you don’t feel this,” his voice came low, almost a warning, his fingers brushing her jaw before tightening just enough to tilt her face toward him. Her breath trembled. “Feel what?” she whispered, even though her body had already betrayed her. A dark chuckle slipped from him. “The way you’re already losing.” She didn’t know when it started—when fear blurred into hunger… when resistance turned into anticipation. They weren’t gentle men. They didn’t ask. They took their time… their space… and slowly, her control. Every glance felt like a claim. Every touch lingered too long. Every word wrapped around her like a promise she shouldn’t want. And yet… she leaned closer. Because the truth was far more dangerous than anything they could do to her— She wanted to be undone. Completely. But some desires don’t come without a cost… and some men don’t know how to stop once they begin. The question isn’t whether she’ll fall— it’s whether there’ll be anything left of her when she does.
