The Admirer I never had is a story based on having courage and being sensitive when it comes to matters of the heart. It all started when I entered high school. it was a new environment, had no friends, new neighbors, needed time to get used to the area before can associate with those around me. Back from school tired with a slight headache, took a nap and waking up moving to the balcony to watch the sun go down, it is chilly, battery low no one to talk to or text with. Standing all alone watching the sun go down, just wishing I had someone to talk to how my day went. It's nightfall going in to watch TV but the channels are boring, having some sleep will do some good I said to myself. In the dead of night, dreams as usual. She came we talked and laughed, I had a good time explained to her how the day was, and telling her how much I missed her, she smiled and we went on discussing, suddenly she got this funny look, and asks me " why are you always not happy in school"? as if she is always there, she continues " I don't want to think you are alone, or feel there is no one to talk, I am here for you she said. Trying to disagree with her, " I know you care about me, I know you look out for me, I know if I don't eat you won't, if I don't sleep you won't, if I don't study you will wake me up to even if am not in the mood. but that is not enough, when I need you, you are never around". Listening to my complain she shifted closer and held my hands whispering softly she said, " I got you ". it's 7:00 in the morning, ready for school with a smile, a good night it was. and a normal day as usual, being insignificant is the real deal, after all someone is got my back, even though it's just a dream. Impatiently waiting for nightfall, finally it is. and as usual, she came but this time around it was different, she was ragging with anger, her eyes were red, her veins adrenaline rushed through, her heart beat faster than normal. with an angry look she said " I don't want you smiling with other girls". Listening to this I tried to confront her, let's face reality here I meet you only at night, when I need you most you are never there, even when I need someone to talk to during the day I don't see you around. Trying to wake up from the nightmare it was not one, it was then I discovered that I have been meeting with a spirit. and coming back from dream land something was off, I was not who I used to be anymore, something was missing. That was Shen a search of a solution began little did I know I would not just find a solution but the Admirer I never noticed, she was someone I never thought would even have feelings for me, or even ever want to have a conversation. Meeting her at the program of how to let go and follow the light, after the program we shared each others stories and she continued with how she hoped for a day like this to come, me being surprised someone was there silent, I was relieved and knowing this time around, I won't face the spirit again. And from then on things went well, we were always together, no longer alone but with somebody to lean on. Moral Lesson Don't interact or live your life in dream, wake up and face reality, class does not matter when it comes to matters of the heart, you will face rejection but don't give up. be bold to face that person.
