It all started with a simple gamble. To make the new girl, Mystique admit she finds the renowned player, River, attractive. Everything seemed to be in River's favour, until he realises that Mystique is shamelessly immune to his charms. With River's defeat, he is f****d to face the socially suicidal consequence- signing up for the school musical in spite of his inability to sing. This forces River to rely on the only person capable of teaching him how to sing- Mystique, who not only has an immune system strong enough to fight off the dreaded charms of River, but also has the best singing voice in the school. In return for her help, she asks for one thing- to help her gain more confidence. However, the relationship between River and Mystique turns out to be anything but simple and Mystique ends up teaching River to do more than just sing.
